It was an easy tree to clear this time, Matt. It only took one cut, moved it to the side and done. It took more time to take the handsaw out of my pack.

There is a new tree down on Reedy Fork - maybe halfway between the LB road trail head and the first access to Plainfield. Medium size pine - should be manageable with a hand saw.

Thanks for the info cullenfish! Reedy Fork is now clear. I also rode WT looking for more trees and dang it's looking and riding really nice!

Please post up here if any trees have fallen over trail in Greensboro that needs clean up. It will be appreciated if you can give location, a picture of tree or at least size to determine how much gear is needed for cleanup.

There was a large tree on Copperhead trail and I cleared it up.

Ride on!

You could just skip the dirt and go roadie like these folks; not the kind of road bike we normally see around our streets though...

Rick thanks for all the help on the sawing. I'm guessing your hand feel it today, mine do:)

Ohhh, I wish it were just my hands... Nothing 4 advils at once couldn't handle.

I will not be able to make the 25th.

Great job everyone! It's nice to get out and build trail after a few months of hiding for me.

Mark, I'm tied up with work and life and very happily tied with all of it. Not sure if I will be available to help in the next couple of months.

Thanks Laura!

I suspected the Friends of Mountain to the Sea folks may have taken charge or the wood chuck ninjas. Quick work! Your comment makes sense with the tweet that was sent last night about City requesting users to use other trails.

Thanks for the info! I'm trying to understand loation so I can find quickly. I will be clearing this during my lunch hour on Friday. I am not clear/sure which one this is: "the first bermed down hill section you ride away from the Greenway trail"? There are two bridges we share which hike trail intersects. Was it the long or short bridge?

Thanks again for your post!

1st mile of WT was a sloppy, muddy pot hole every 50 yards. Ended up turning around and drive over to CP which was very nice.
